Choosing a college or university can be one of the most important decisions made by a student during their senior year of high school. The OAEA and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art are proud to host Portfolio Day, a gathering of colleges and universities across the United States who wish to showcase their visual arts programs, and will meet students to review their portfolios on a one-on-one basis. A comprehensive list of the attending institutions will be available in January. To attend Portfolio Day, high school teachers must email Jann Jeffery (email@example.com) to request an appointment time.
Please have your students bring their best (quality) artwork. Work does not need to be matted or framed, but should be without tears, stains, etc. Students should not show their work on a cellphone or other device, as this does not truly show the true quality of their work!
Time: 9:30 am to 2:15 pm (university/colleges representatives must arrive at 8:30 am)
Location: Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Who May Attend: High School Students who are classified as a junior or senior.
Contact: Jann Jeffery (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have questions or to request an appointment time for your students.
