OAEA Members are assigned to one of eight divisions when they join OAEA. These divisions help align the interests and goals of OAEA to ensure that the organization serves its members and the students of Oklahoma as efficiently as possible.
Elementary – Educators who teach grades K through 5th
Middle – Educators who teach grades 6th through 8th
Secondary – Educators who teach grades 9th through 12th
Higher Education – Educators who instructor post-secondary education students
Retired – Former educators who have retired from the teaching profession
Student/Preservice – Students enrolled in a post-secondary institution who are studying to become art educators
Administrative/Supervision – Educators who may work in an administrative or director’s capacity within an organization
Museum Education – Educators who work within the field of education in a museum setting
