The meeting is from 9 am-12pm and a museum tour will be offered after the meeting from 1-2 pm, which will include works from the annual Prix de West Invitational Art Exhibition. If you are not an OAEA Board Member, but interested in attending the meeting, please contact President Frances Williams for more information.

2017 OAEA Fall Conference

The annual OAEA Fall Conference will be September 29 and 30 at The University of Tulsa, and our theme this year is “Art + Design = Steam.” Online early registration is now open or you may complete (and mail) the paper registration form. You save on your registration fee if you register by September 14. Anyone may attend the conference, but OAEA members receive the discounted registration rate. Not an OAEA member? Click here to join OAEA and NAEA for the 2017 – 2018 school year.

We are looking for great ideas for presentations for the conference! If you are interested in sharing lessons, techniques, or other methodologies, please complete the Call for Presentations Form. The deadline for proposals is August 4.

Finally, don’t forget to submit artwork to the annual Members Show, which will hang during the OAEA Fall Conference. This year’s exhibition will be held at the Tulsa Artist’s Coalition (TAC) Gallery in downtown Tulsa.
